Hocking Hills Indian Run

5K, 10K, 20K, 40K and 60K races beginning at the Hocking Hills State Park Dining Lodge, with the trail winding through vast wooded areas of the State Park and Hocking State Forest, crossing streams, deep gorges, shimmering waterfalls, lush forests and country roads, leading uphill and down.

Primeval Crane Hollow Hike

Shuttle service will be provided from Hocking College to the Crane Hollow Preserve in Laurel Township. We'll meet in the parking lot across from the Natural Resources Building towards the western end of the campus off the Hocking Parkway, not far from where the Parkway crosses the railroad on campus. The shuttle will arrive at the parking area at about 11:15 am and depart for Crane Hollow by 11:30 am. We'll arrive at Crane Hollow at about 12 pm. Facilities and a chance to fill up water bottles will be available at Hocking and upon arrival. We'll hike after a short introduction for 3 to four hours, and return to Hocking between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Shuttle service will be available for the first 15 to register, but carpooling can be available for up to a total of 20 participants. It will be a day of adventure!

Moonlight Tour

Paddle your canoe from sunset to moonlight, using the light of the moon as it reflects on the water. Your trip ends at the livery with a roaring bonfire, s'mores and a local bluegrass band for your enjoyment. Reservations highly recommended. Night Flight Rappel Adventure - TUESDAY, SATURDAY

High Rock Adventures will be offering a first for Ohio and the Mid-West, A Night Flight Rappel down towering cliffs under the cover of darkness. Guests will arrive and hike up to the cliffs at sunset, then embark on 2 different rappels from the top of our towering sandstone cliffs. Enjoy the night sounds of Hocking Hills forest as it comes alive with Tree frogs singing,a chorus of Katydids (also known as bush crickets), distant coyote howls, occasional owls calling, and more. This hike requires that guests be fully mobile and comfortable hiking by flashlight across uneven terrain and rappelling down sandstone cliffs that can get slippery and wet at times. It is not an adventure for the faint of heart. Limit 8 per night (for larger groups call our office)
