Pick up a Halloween Scavenger Hunt at any of the events and test your skills.

The schedule is as follows:

11 - 12: Pumpkin decorating at the Old Man's cave shelter house. For children 12 & under. Adult supervision required.

4 p.m.: Hayrides through the campground. Starts at main shower house. This is your chance to see all of the decorated campsites and tell us your favorite.Best Decorated Campsite award will be given right after Trick-or-Treat!

6 p.m.: Costume parade at the amphitheater.

7 p.m. - 8 pm: Trick or Treat in the campground!!Vehicle traffic will be stopped for 1 hour only.For registered campers 8:30 pm - Halloween movies at the Amphitheater. Children must have adult supervision at all events.

Pumpkin Decorating at Old Man's Cave Shelter House

Come join us as we decorate pumpkins for the season at the Old Man's Cave Shelter House. For children 12 and under. Adult supervision required.

ROAR Day (Rural Ohio Appalachia Revisited)

ROAR Day will feature a wide variety of local crafters demonstrating their skills. Guests can expect to see pottery being turned, wool spun into soft yarn, and artistic drawings on slate. Visitors also can enjoy the sound of local musicians as they play tunes from long ago. Vendors will set up throughout the park, including the old one-room Hope School House, shelter house in the main area, as well as at the beautiful new Lake Hope Dining Lodge. The park's nature center will be hosting events for the younger crowd. Kids are encouraged to participate in a "nature-themed" costume contest, decorate pumpkins or join the fun of jumping into a pile of straw to find hidden treasures. Located in Vinton County, the park is eight miles north of state Route 50 on state Route 278 or 14 miles south of U.S. 33 from Nelsonville on state Route 278. Once at the park, follow signs to the various events.

Stuart's Opera House welcomes an Americana double bill with Aoife O'Donovan & Willie Watson. O'Donovan will perform with her band, while Watson will take the stage as a one-man band.O'Donovan released In the Magic Hour earlier this year, a 10-song album. Willie Watson is known for his work with Old Crow Medicine Show, but his newest release is 2014's Folk Singer Vol. 1 produced by David Rawlings.Watson will play first, there will be a short intermission and then Aoife O'Donovan and her band will perform.

Freewill Offering. Cross Pointe is a Southern Gospel Music group based out of Lancaster, Ohio made up of Bill Pitts, Joni Townsend, and Debbie Wright. Cross Pointe began singing together March 2009 and have had the privilege to sing at many other venues. God is blessing beyond their comprehension. They minister with songs of hope and encouragement because they sing about real life and a real Christ!

They gather inspiration from The Talleys, The Martins, The Hoppers, Booth Brothers, and Three Bridges.
