Throughout 2016 Camp Oty'Okwa is hosting Free Community Hikes on its property. These hikes will take place one Saturday of each month. Participants of all ages will get the chance to explore some of the most beautiful land the Hocking Hills has to offer, including hemlock forests, sandstone gorges, and much, much more. All hikes will be led by experienced Camp naturalists and staff members. Please bring environmentally friendly snacks, reusable water bottles, and binoculars.

Grab a glass of wine and come with us on a tour of the production area at Rockside Winery! During the tour you will learn about the history of the winery and learn about the winemaking process from grape to bottle in detail. The tour lasts about an hour give or take depending on the number of questions. Informal, informative and fun! Afterwards, join us in the tasting room for an educational wine tasting. We look forward to having you! Tours are currently bi-weekly on Saturday afternoons.The tour is free, but reservations are required through our events calendar on our website due to limited space. Night Flight Rappel Adventure - TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY

High Rock Adventures will be offering a first for Ohio and the Mid-West, A Night Flight Rappel down towering cliffs under the cover of darkness. Guests will arrive and hike up to the cliffs at sunset, then embark on 2 different rappels from the top of our towering sandstone cliffs. Enjoy the night sounds of Hocking Hills forest as it comes alive with Tree frogs singing,a chorus of Katydids (also known as bush crickets), distant coyote howls, occasional owls calling, and more. This hike requires that guests be fully mobile and comfortable hiking by flashlight across uneven terrain and rappelling down sandstone cliffs that can get slippery and wet at times. It is not an adventure for the faint of heart. Limit 8 per night (for larger groups call our office)
